Limelight Marketplace to House More than 80 Stores in Landmark Building

The brainchild of retailer Jack Menashe and designer James Mansour, the historic 163-year-old venue in Manhattan’s Flatiron district will transform into a three-story shopping destination. Manhattan’s landmark Episcopal Church turned legendary nightclub will open its doors once again this spring as Limelight Marketplace at 47 W. 20th St., housing an exceptional scope of retailers where uptown merges with downtown, and street meets luxury. Inspired by the United Kingdom's Covent Garden, Dover Street Market and Burlington Arcade, the Limelight Marketplace will display traditional elegance with a modern twist, showcasing a unique “street” of indoor shops with varying brownstone, glass and gothic facades. Reducing start-up and maintenance costs for boutique brands through a unique in-house business model, Limelight Marketplace will supply participants with POS systems, technology and maintenance support, branded materials, and marketing, PR and visual merchandising services.
